The Art of the Journey – Art Inspired by the Immigrant Experience in California The Fresno County Public Library has invited artists from all experience levels and backgrounds to submit artwork for display at the Betty Rodriguez Regional Library. This show is the third program in the California the Journey series. Starting September 10th, the Betty Rodriguez Regional Library will highlight stories told through the visual arts, hosting an Art Hop Showcase featuring works submitted by community members that help tell stories about “Coming to California.” We welcome art the expresses those stories and experiences. Artwork accepted through the first week of September 2017 and will be on display September 10 – October 9, 2017. There will be a reception on the night of ArtHop, Thursday, September 21, 2017, 5:00pm – 8:00pm. |

ReplyDeleteHi Sandy. The event has been a great success, so it is possible that we could do this again. However, the Art Hop schedule is booked for pretty much all of next year.
